San Alejo Market Flea
About
The San Alejo Flea Market was founded in 1983 in Chorro de Quevedo, in La Candelaria, the oldest neighborhood in the city. Over the years, it has changed locations several times, finally settling at Carrera 7 and Calle 24, next to the Museum of Modern Art. It is the place with the highest concentration of antiques in the country. There, you’ll find more than 350 stalls that draw both locals and tourists every Sunday and public holidays. The market has hosted gatherings of music enthusiasts—classic LPs are sold there—along with tourist fairs, fashion events inspired by past eras, and even auctions of collectibles and high-end items. Visitors include antique traders from across the country, international travelers, and lovers of antiques, toys, and vintage furniture.
How to get there?
It is located in the heart of Bogotá, opposite the iconic Colpatria Tower. You can get there by TransMilenio, getting off at the Museo Nacional station and walking four blocks south on Carrera 7a. From there, you can enter via Carrera Séptima or Calle 24.
