About
The Museo de Bogotá houses a collection of more than 24,000 objects in a variety of media. It stands out for its collection of historical photographs of the city, an important collection of maps of Bogota and several significant objects such as urns, the streetcar and the statue of Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada, toppled by the Misak community during the social mobilizations of 2021. This space is a meeting point for citizens where ideas are exchanged, creativity is encouraged, issues are debated and innovative solutions are sought to the challenges faced by the city's inhabitants.
