Santa Clara Museum
About
Discover the fascinating collection of the Santa Clara Museum, composed mainly of objects that were part of the old Clarian church, where colors, techniques and styles are intertwined. “Saint Martin of Tours splitting his cloak with a poor man” is the first work donated to the museum in 1647, marking the beginning of a collection that reflects the transformations of the temple from the 17th century to the 21st century. In addition to paintings, sculptures, prints, altarpieces, silverware, textiles and colonial furniture, the Santa Clara Museum exhibits contemporary works of art donated by artists who have exhibited in this space. This unique combination offers visitors a vibrant perspective of the history and artistic evolution of this emblematic place.
