El Cuarteto de Nos (Uruguay), Los Cafres (Argentina), Los Rabanes (Panamá), Don Tetto, La Derecha, Polikarpa y sus Viciosas (Bogotá) and Herejía (local) are some of the 56 bands that make up the official lineup of Rock al Parque 2025, which will take place from June 21 to 23 at Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park

According to the District Institute of the Arts (Idartes), this edition will feature 56 groups: 20 local bands, 9 national bands and 27 international bands. The international lineup includes El Cuarteto de Nos (Uruguay), known for its unique blend of alternative rock, pop, hip-hop and storytelling. Some of their most well-known songs include Invierno del 92, Yo no sé qué hacer conmigo, and Yendo a la casa de Damián.

With hits like My commanding wife and Señorita a mí me gusta su style, Los Rabanes arrives from Panamá, whose music proposal mixes rock, ska, and reggae. From Argentina, the lineup includes Los Cafres, pioneers of Spanish-language reggae in Latin America, and A.N.I.M.A.L., considered one of the most iconic alternative metal bands in the region. Los de Abajo (México) will also take the stage at Rock al Parque with a fusion of rock, ska, reggae, and traditional Mexican music.

Other international bands performing at this year’s edition include Allison (México), Bala (España), Belphegor (Austria), Black Pantera (Brasil), and Carmen Sea (Francia), who will perform thanks to a partnership between Idartes, the Alliance Française, the French Institute, and the French Embassy as part of the global celebration Fête de la Musique. The festival will also include performances by Cemican (Mexico), Comeback Kid (Canada), Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba (Spain), Descartes a Kant (Mexico), Desierto Drive (Mexico), Dismember (Sweden), El Gran Silencio (Mexico), El Mató a un Policía Motorizado (Argentina), Hermana Furia (Spain), Hirax (USA), Madball (USA), Mawiza (Chile), Parabellum (Spain), Silvestre y La Naranja (Argentina), The Monic (Brazil) and Viniloversus (Venezuela).

Rock and Tourism

Many national and international visitors will arrive in our city to enjoy the concerts of the largest free rock festival in Latin America—and the third largest in the world—as it reaches its 29th edition. More than 300,000 people attended the 2024 edition. Not in vain, Bogotá is consolidated as the region’s most important cultural epicenters, proudly holding the title of UNESCO Creative City of Music. The Colombian Lineup

Representing the national scene are bands such as Grito (Medellín), known for their sound proposal rooted in post-hardcore; Tenebrarum (Medellín), with over three decades of experience in the Colombian metal scene; Rain of Fire (Tuluá), Reencarnación (Medellín), Rex Marte (Cali) and Somer (Circasia, Quindío).
Bogotá will be represented by three invited bands with solid careers in both the local and national scenes: Don Tetto, formed in 2003 and known for their work in alternative rock; La Derecha, a band formed in the 1990s and remembered for hits like ¡Ay que dolor!, El puñal, Emociones y Ruido; and Polikarpa y sus Viciosas, a feminist punk group active since 1994

This high level of musical performance is also reflected in the 20 local bands selected through the Rock al Parque 2025 Festival Grant - Bogotá, UNESCO Creative City of Music. The bands are Apolo 7, Bat Habits, Buha 2030, Chimó Psicodélico, Dead Silence, Devasted, Herejía, Hermanos Menores, K93, Keep The Rage, Metal Sevicia, Mortalem, Okinawa Bullets, Piangua, Piel Camaleón, Sin nadie al mando, Sin pudor, Somberspawn, Urdaneta and Yo no la tengo.

Transportation during the festival

Rock al Parque will end at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, and at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, June 22 and 23. To help attendees get home safely, TransMilenio will offer special routes. One of them is the TransMizonal along Avenida 68, with 31 routes available to destinations such as Engativá, downtown Bogotá, Fontibón, Usaquén, Kennedy, Bosa, Usme, Suba, Ciudad Bolívar, and San Cristóbal
On Calle, there will be five route options to Bosa, Fontibón, Downtown, Usaquén, and Suba. On Carrera 60, two routes will be available, heading to Suba, Usme, Engativá, and Downtown
On Calle 63, three routes will operate toward Engativá, Calle 80, and downtown. Please note that traffic detours will be in place on Calle 63, but all routes will continue operating via Avenida 68.
Additionally, there will be two special routes operating from Calle 53 with Carrera 60 heading to Portal El Tunal via Avenida Boyacá
Another option is TransMilenio service along Calle 26, with the Salitre Greco and CAN–British Council Stations open. Along the NQS, the 7 de Agosto and Movistar Arena Stations will also be available. TransMilenio services will run until 11:00 p.m.
For those who prefer to enjoy the festival from home, performances will be broadcast live on television and digital platforms via Canal Capital channel.
