World Bike Day will be celebrated this Monday, June 3. If you are visiting Bogotá and want to discover destinations on wheels, you can’t miss the activities scheduled for that day.
On Avenida Boyacá and Calle 26, there will be recreational activities related to the use of bicycles. In this same road corridor, on Calle 134, the little ones will be the protagonists as they will enjoy a day of walk bike, learning to practice some somersaults with their bikes.
The “Polish Embassy Bike Ride” will take place at 08:00 a.m. The meeting point will be at Carrera 21 bis between Calle 104 A and Calle 105. There, the route will begin, reaching Calle 72 with Carrera 7 and returning to the point of origin.
On Avenida Boyacá and Calle 147, the “Ciclovía Wheel of Life” will also take place, heading north to Calle 170.
What if I don't have a bike?
You can rent one in some of the sites dedicated to renting bicycles for tourists for the hours you wish. On the Internet, you will find many options that charge from COP 45,000. You can also pay in dollars, depending on the exchange rate of the day. Another option is to rent one from the Bogotá Bicycle Sharing System.
