Archivo en Vivo proposes a different experience to approach the memory of the city through the documentary heritage. More than a guided tour, this meeting in the Bogotá Archive invites you to visit stories, silences and questions that go through the past and present of the capital, in a cultural experience that connects heritage, reflection and citizenship.
During the tour, the attendees will be able to know the exhibition Archived Bodies, an installation that, from historical documents and records never before exhibited, explores memories of the LGBTIQ + community in Bogotá and the archives as evidence of resistance. The experience is complemented by the installation Palacio de Justicia, a tour that interpolates the absence and the documentary gaps around 1985, opening questions about memory, justice and collective history.
Made in the heart of the historical center, Archivo en Vivo is an ideal plan for those who seek different cultural experiences in Bogotá, free tours with a patrimonial focus and proposals that allow to understand the city from its deepest tracks. An invitation to discover how files also tell living stories.
