Pan American Congress of Ophthalmology

The (PAAO 2025), held from 30 May to 2 June in Bogotá, brought together leading professionals of ophthalmology in the Americas and other regions, with an intensive academic program that included masterful presentations, symposia on retina, glau-coma, cornea, refractive surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro- ophthalmology and ocular oncology, as well as an international exhibition of medical technology.

With an estimated 5,000 participants and 14,000 hotel nights, the economic spill reached $5.5 million.
