Enjoy one of the trails of the eastern hills of Bogotá, which houses an entire ecosystem of flora and fauna, and tributaries of crystalline water.
The Vicacha Path is part of the Bogot Eastern Forest Protector Reservea and is located on the bank of the San Francisco river, name given by the Spanish community, or Vicachá: a muisca word that means the glow of the moon or where the moon is reflected.
The way San Francisco - Vicachá is located inside the grounds Boqueron Mill, English Mill and Cerezos, property of the Acueducto de Bogotá: lands that share the towns of Santa Fe and La Candelaria. It was there, precisely, that the beginning of the foundation of the city was recorded in the pre-Hispanic period and, later, in the colonial period, some of the first neighborhoods existed in the territory.
