A temple overlooking the square and keeping the town's history alive

Set along the town's main square, this principal church was built between 1928 and 1946.

With a Gothic-style architecture, it is dedicated to Christ the King and Saint Michael the Archangel. In 1972, parish priest Ricardo González Hernández founded the parish school that takes his name, which in 1992 came under the administration of the municipality and the Department of Cundinamarca.

📍 How to get there

*By car, from Bogotá, take the Autopista Norte passing through Zipaquirá; then take the road towards Subachoque (35 km, 1 hour). 

* By public transport, from the Bogotá Bus Terminal, take a bus to Subachoque (1 hour).
