Located on the northwestern outskirts of Bogotá is La Florida Regional Park, one of the city's most important parks. This 267-hectare wetland offers areas suitable for sports and recreational activities, as well as camping areas, barbecue kiosks, and other amenities.

A highlight is an interpretive trail featuring a bird observatory that has identified 40 species (30 endemic and 10 migratory) that visit the park between September and April. The trail is guided by expert ornithologists.

The park also boasts facilities for water sports and other activities such as motocross, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and basketball. In addition, it has a modern model aircraft flying field, and its golf course is a popular choice for enthusiasts.

If you enjoy cycling, you can reach the park via the bike path that connects the Guadua Bridge on Calle 80 in Bogotá with La Florida Park.
