Bogotá, a city to, know, read and meet

There's still a week left of the Bogotá International Book Fair, and maybe that's enough time to start a trip. .

Because sometimes it all starts with a book chosen without haste, a cover that draws attention, a phrase read randomly. In Bogotá, during these fair days, this simple gesture can become something bigger: an invitation to travel three trips at the same time.

The first trip happens between pages. In the FILBo, between conversations, authors and stories coming from all over the world, there is still time to find that book that will accompany you home. Because the fair doesn't end in the pavilions; sometimes it just starts there.

Then the second trip appears: Bogotá.

A city that lets itself read slowly. A newly purchased book can be opened in Simón Bolívar Park, continued in a neighborhood coffee or accompanied by a break in the Botanical Garden of Bogotá. Each place seems to lend itself to follow a story. Here reading is also walking, watching and discovering that the city has its own chapters.

And there's the third trip, the most intimate.

The one that appears when a phrase resounds or when silence finds space. Bogotá also invites that: to breathe calmly, to disconnect for a moment, to seek well-being in meditation experiences, yoga, cold therapies or paths where the noise is left behind. On routes like Quebrada La Vieja or Path Las Moyas, walking can also be a way to listen.

That's what all three trips have in common: they all transform.

Read a book, visit Bogotá and return to yourself. In these last days of the fair, the invitation is still open. Go to the FILBo, pick a story and let the city do the rest. Because in Bogotá a book can become a map, a park in shelter, a path in inner conversation.

If you're in town this week, you're still in time to live it, because some stories don't end when you close the book.

And in Bogotá, as soon as the adventure begins, he knows everything the city has to offer in visitbogota.co.
