Gran Mercado Campesino: Now it's World

On June 4 and 5, 2026, the Plaza de Bolívar will become the stage of the Gran Mercado Campesino: Now it is World, a special edition that will bring together the gastronomic, cultural and productive wealth of different regions of the country in the heart of Bogotá. During two days, about 200 producers and processors of food from the Togotan rurality and from regions such as the Amazon, the Caribbean, the Pacific, the Orinoch and the Andean region will share with citizens and visitors an authentic sample of the flavors and traditions that are part of Colombian diversity. This edition will be inspired by the spirit of meeting that football generates, making the market a true celebration of national identity.

The attendees will be able to travel many spaces where they will find fruits, vegetables, tubers, honey, dairy, agro-industrial products, artisan bakery, traditional sweets and typical preparations made directly by farmers. In addition to making market, the public will be able to enjoy a cultural agenda with music, artistic expressions and traditional samples that reflect the wealth of the participating territories. The Plaza de Bolívar will become a meeting point between the countryside and the city, strengthening the recognition of rural work and promoting local consumption.

This event represents a unique opportunity to support Colombian producers, to know the traditions of different regions and to live a cultural and gastronomic experience in one of the most emblematic places in Bogotá. It is an ideal plan for families, tourists and residents who seek to connect with the cultural and food diversity of the country while enjoying an outdoor day in the historical center of the city.
