Since 1988, the FILBo has been much more than a literary event: it is a true celebration of words and ideas that transforms the city into a cultural hub every year. Here, you will become part of a dynamic cultural gathering where passionate readers, renowned authors, and emerging voices from around the world converge. This world-class event brings together book industry exhibitors from all over the world, mainly from Ibero-America, and takes place annually at the Corferias exhibition center.

FILBo not only offers the opportunity to discover the latest releases and literary treasures, but it also invites you to immerse yourself in inspiring talks, creative workshops, book signings, and activities for all ages.

Among pavilions filled with books and unique events, you will feel literature come to life in every corner. Whether you are book lover or simply seeking inspiration, FILBo is an unmissable experience.

The event is open to the general public and is jointly organized by Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber.

In 2007, the fair celebrated its milestone 20th edition. That very same year, the city of Bogotá was named World Book Capital by UNESCO.
