20 de Julio Market Square
La Plaza District de Mercado 20 de Julio is a space where the peasant tradition meets the urban life of Bogotá. Its distinctive seal is the weekend peasant markets, which bring to the city fresh products of the bogotan rurality and of nearby villages of the Sabana: dairy, eggs, native tubers and typical preparations that exalt the work of the field.
In addition to this experience, the square offers a wide range of food and supplies: exotic fruits, vegetables, vegetables, meat, traditional herbs and crafts that reflect the culture of the city.
Also recognized for its proximity to the Basilica of the Divine Child, it is a reference for visitors and devotees who find in the square a place where flavors, faith and traditions intertwine, consolidating themselves as an emblematic point in the south-east of Bogotá.
