The Parque de los Novios, also known as Parque El Lago (Lake Park), is a welcoming natural setting where you can breathe fresh air, take walks, and connect with nature. It's a popular spot for family gatherings and, very often, for couples in love.

It's part of the iconic Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park, covering 23 hectares, and is located at Calle 63 and Carrera 45, in the Barrios Unidos district. Its main attraction, as its name suggests, is the lake, which is home to countless species.

Visitors can enjoy various activities such as kayaking, walking, and exercising in its expansive green spaces, which are also perfect for picnics. In addition, there are designated barbecue areas, all arranged in an organized and inviting manner. 

Very close to the park you will find other places of great importance in Bogotá, such as the Aquatic Complex, the Simón Bolívar Park, the Salitre Mágico amusement park, the Botanical Garden, the Movistar Arena Coliseum and the El Campín Stadium.

📍 Instrucciones de llegada

You can get there by TransMilenio. The closest stations are Movistar Arena and Simón Bolívar, located on the NQS trunk line. From there, you have to walk about five minutes to the park entrance.
