Ciclo Rosa 2026
Cinematica de Bogotá Categoría del eventoFrom June 18 to July 12, 2026, the Bogotá Cinematheque will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ciclo Rosa, one of Latin America’s most important cultural and audiovisual events dedicated to sexual and gender diversity. This special edition will bring together film, exhibitions, performances, installations, and spaces for dialogue that invite reflection on contemporary identities, freedoms, and forms of representation.
The lineup will open on June 18 with a screening of La misteriosa mirada del flamenco, a film selected by Chile for the 2026 Oscars and Goya Awards, accompanied by the performance La noche y las luciérnag. More than just a film festival, Ciclo Rosa is a space where the audiovisual arts, academia, and communities come together.
This edition will feature Colombian short films, an international showcase of Latin American queer cinema, international premieres, the traditional Ciclo Rosa Dialogues, and GenIA, a multimedia installation that explores the relationships between identity and emerging technologies.
Throughout its 25 editions, Ciclo Rosa has established itself as a cultural benchmark that promotes inclusion, diversity, and critical thinking through art. The programming will take place at the Cinemateca de Bogotá, its satellite venues in El Tunal and Fontanar del Río, as well as the Network of Associated Theaters (Red de Salas Asociadas).
