In 1998, a quiet corner in the Quinta Camacho neighborhood witnessed the birth of an extraordinary bookstore. San Librario arrived with an irreverent name—not found on any saint's calendar—and a unique proposition: to sell antique and secondhand books that still had much to tell.

Since then, it has become a treasure trove for passionate readers. Its shelves hold first editions, literary rarities, and texts waiting to be discovered by those who love reading as much as its founder, Álvaro Castillo Granada.

Here, every book has a story and a fair price. Many writers have walked its aisles and left with memorable surprises, enveloped in the quiet charm of the place.

📍 How to get there

*By car or taxi: Take Carrera Séptima or Carrera 11 and turn onto Calle 70. San Librario is located between Carrera 12 and 12A, in the Quinta Camacho neighborhood. It's a quiet, residential area with several public parking lots nearby.

*By TransMilenio: Get off at the Flores station (Line B or H) on Avenida Caracas. From there, walk east on Calle 67 and then take Carrera 12 north until you reach Calle 70. The walk takes about 10 minutes.

*By SITP: You can take routes that pass along Carrera 11, Carrera 13, or Calle 70. The closest stops are Calle 70 and Carrera 13 or Carrera 12 and Calle 69. From either stop, you'll be less than two blocks from the bookstore.
