Its culinary offerings are a journey around the world, a tour of flavors ranging from local to international, including cuisines from Greece, Pakistan, India, Italy, Switzerland, and Peru. There are also bakeries, specialty coffee shops, and bars, all framed by English-style facades that evoke Bogotá of the 1940s.
Park Way is an 800-meter-long promenade planted with urapan trees brought from Argentina. As one of the first boulevard-style avenues, it was built around 1950 in the La Soledad neighborhood of the Teusaquillo district. Initially, the initiative called “Bogotá Futuro” (Bogotá Future) was a project that essentially organized new layouts and the expansion of the existing road network to define avenues with roadways separated by a central tree-lined area. This “roundabout path” located on Carrera 24 between streets 36 and 45 has pedestrian paths, green areas and bike paths, which has made it a recreational and cultural place, ideal to enjoy the shade of various trees, among which the tall oaks, eucalyptus and urapanes stand out.
The Parkway is located in the La Soledad neighborhood, in the Teusaquillo district, on Calle 45 between Carrera 22 and Carrera 24. This cultural and gastronomic corridor is one of Bogotá's most iconic and easily connects to several main avenues. Transportation options are detailed below:
