Known as MAMU, the Miguel Urrutia Art Museum presents representative works of Colombian, Latin American, and international art from different periods. It boasts a modern infrastructure, inaugurated in 2004 and designed by architect Ricardo Triana Uribe.

he museum, named in honor of economist and academic Miguel Urrutia Montoya, a director of the Bank of the Republic, offers educational exhibitions and features an auditorium and a project room called 'El Parqueadero' (The Parking Lot). A large, 500-square-meter hall on the second floor, divided into several sections, houses the portion of the Bank of the Republic's art collection dedicated to 20th-century Latin American art and European art. This constitutes its permanent exhibition core.

The museum's galleries are organized chronologically, from the 16th century to the present, exhibiting more than 800 pieces by 250 artists, including works by Fernando Botero, Alejandro Obregón, Beatriz González, and other prominent figures.
