If your goal is to take care of your physical and mental health while enjoying nature, the Doce Quebradas and Kilómetro 11 trails in the eastern hills of Bogotá offer the perfect getaway with two fascinating circuits: a 3.7-kilometer route between Casa El Cadillal and Casa Granizo, and a 2.9-kilometer route between Casa El Cadillal and Casa El Boquerón. The Doce Quebradas and Kilómetro 11 trails are located within the Bosque Oriental de Bogotá Protected Forest Reserve, nestled in the rural area of the Santa Fe district.

This trail is a haven of tranquility where you can walk surrounded by lush trees, moss-covered valleys, and a rich diversity of butterflies, birds, and mammals.

If you prefer a shorter, but equally enchanting, route, the Kilómetro 11 trail offers two options: a 1.8-kilometer hike from Casa El Boquerón to the junction with Doce Quebradas, or a 3.1-kilometer hike that will take you to Casa El Granizo. With every step, you'll be in direct contact with nature, enjoying the unique landscapes that only the eastern hills of Bogotá can offer.

If you're looking for a way to disconnect from the city routine, breathe fresh air, and connect with nature without straying too far from the city, this is your opportunity. Whether you prefer a short hike or a longer adventure, these trails offer the perfect experience to revitalize body and mind.
