The Torca-Guaymaral District Ecological Wetland Park is an invaluable natural refuge for Bogotá and its biodiversity. Divided into two segments separated by the Autopista Norte (North Highway) and extending between the Suba and Usaquén districts, it stands out as a protected area that preserves flora and fauna essential to the capital's urban ecosystem.

With a rich array of native tree and shrub species, planted in collaboration with the Botanical Garden and the Bogotá Water and Sewerage Company, the Torca-Guaymaral wetland is home to birds and other species that find a resilient and constantly adapting environment here. During your visit, you'll enjoy plants such as alder, bamboo, and cattail, which beautify the landscape and create an ideal habitat for observing local wildlife.

In addition to its beauty and biodiversity, Torca-Guaymaral plays a fundamental role in water regulation and purification for Bogotá. It invites you to connect with nature and get to know urban ecosystems up close without going far from the city.
