The San Alejo Flea Market was founded in 1987 in the Chorro de Quevedo neighborhood of La Candelaria, the oldest neighborhood in the city. Over time, it has moved several times, finally settling at Carrera Séptima and Calle 24, next to the Museum of Modern Art.

It boasts the highest concentration of antiques in the country. There you'll find more than 350 stalls that attract locals and tourists alike on Sundays and holidays.

The market has hosted gatherings of music lovers—classic LPs are sold there—tourist fairs, fashion events that evoke bygone eras, and even auctions featuring high-value collectibles.

Its visitors include antique dealers from across the country, foreigners, and enthusiasts of antiques, toys, and vintage furniture.
