By everyone, for everyone. Culture, cinema, and entrepreneurship plans during LGBTI Pride season
Diversity season celebrations are not just about partying; the city becomes a space for commemoration and reflection in many different ways.
Bogotá just like the world's major cities, is ready to celebrate diversity during Pride Month, the annual commemoration of the LGBTI community. A wide range of activities will take place throughout June, all available to explore at Visit Bogotá.
Perhaps the most anticipated events of the month are the parties at the Bogotá Pride Fest, running from June 22 to 28, 2026; the iconic Theatron Pride Weekend, also from June 22 to 28; or even the Oh My Drag Pride Festival, featuring a historic lineup that highlights the Summer Ball 2026 on August 22. But the celebration goes much further, offering a rich portfolio of activities throughout June and the first week of July, including workshops, conferences, live performances, film series, panels, marches, and business networking events.

Parades, art, and culture
The main LGBTIQANB+ parade in Bogotá is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026. The gathering typically begins around 10:00 AM at the National Park and concludes at Bolívar Square, walking along Carrera Séptima.
Meanwhile, the so-called “Marcha del Sur”, under the slogan “Diversxs en identidad, unidxs en la lucha” (Diverse in identity, united in the struggle), will take place on June 14, departing from the old Bavaria factory (Av. 72 #09-01) in the locality of Kennedy. The “Marcha Trans” is still to be confirmed. All of these events draw strong community interest with their promise of being filled with art, music, color, and eye-catching troupes.

Regarding cinema, the Cinemateca de Bogotá (Bogotá Cinematheque) will host its traditional Ciclo Rosa (Pink Series) as part of its 25th edition from June 6 to July 12. The Cinemateca de Bogotá, the Goethe-Institut, and the Centro Colombo Americano in Medellín, founding partners of this initiative, are celebrating an edition that pays tribute to Rosa von Praunheim, the filmmaker who inspired the series’ name, with a special retrospective and the Rosa von Praunheim Creative Workshop.
The celebrations continue with “Pride Weekend” on June 27 at Theatron, one of the venues in the Chapinero locality, known for celebrating diversity and solidarity during Bogotá’s Pride Month, followed by the iconic Theatron Pride Weekend from June 22 to 28

Business with Pride
Bogotá’s packed program for Pride and Diversity Month also features events and activities aimed at promoting business initiatives within the sector. A major highlight is the 13th edition of weTrade, Latin America’s largest diverse business fair and a epicenter for business inclusion and innovation, which will take place on July 16 and 17 at Ágora Bogotá.
