In June, everything for everyone

Next, on Sunday, June 14, as part of of the 18th anniversary of the Marcha LGBTI del Sur, this civic mobilization will take place. The gathering point will be at 11:30 AM in front of the Bavaria Park in the Kennedy locality (between Avenida Boyacá, Avenida Américas, and Calle 26 Sur). The march will depart at 2:00 PM and conclude at El Fuego Park in the Fontibón locality (Carrera 70 # Cl. 23c). The activity will be held under the motto Diversxs en identidad, Unidxs en la lucha (Diverse in identity, united in the struggle), and will feature an entrepreneurship fair, artistic performances, and cultural activities.

The route will end at El Fuego Park, where the Fontibón es Cultura Diversa event will take place starting at 2:00 p.m. It is a gathering featuring cultural and artistic expressions from the LGBTI community.

The event continues on June 18, 2026, with the Ciclo Rosa, which, through June 28 at the Cinemateca de Bogotá (Carrera 3 # 19 – 10), celebrates 25 years as a witness to local and global transformations in audiovisual aesthetics and narratives related to sexual and gender diversity. This space promotes gathering, learning, discussion, and enjoyment centered on the experiences and reflections of LGBTIQ+ people.

On June 19, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Amapola Jones LGBTI House (Cra. 21 # 25-02) will host the Conversatorio Corazón Borrado (Erased Heart Panel), a space for reflection and dialogue aimed at bringing visibility to the violence associated with so-called conversion therapies.

That same day, the Sebastián Romero LGBTI House (Calle 44 #14 - 60) will host the Aquelarre por el Orgullo from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It will be a community gathering to reflect on unity, collective care, networking, and pride as a practice of resistance and social transformation.

On Thursday, June 25, as part of Pride Month, the collective will take over the Graffiti District – Puente Aranda (Av. Las Américas con Carrera 53) to celebrate Arte a la Diversidad. Starting at 2 p.m., an artistic mural will be created to promote the visibility and rights of people in the LGBTI community, in collaboration with community leaders and district agencies.

At the same location, at 4:00 p.m., the panel discussion for the artwork GenIA: Atravesando el género will be held.

On Friday, June 26, the Quebrada La Vieja Trail, starting at 9:00 a.m, will host an ecological hike and the planting of 60 trees led by the Bogotá Water and Sewerage Company (EAAB), with the participation of members from LGBTI social sectors. Along this trail, just like in nature, beauty blooms in every color.

At 4:00 p.m. on that same day, the District Flag Raising Ceremony will take place at the Flags Monument (Av. de las Américas #75-64). Organized by social organizations and the Kennedy Local LGBTI Committee, this activity serves as a symbolic, political, and representational act to reclaim rights, promoting recognition, inclusion, and the visibility of diversity in Bogotá.

Later that evening, starting at 7:00 p.m., the Teatro Caixa at Theatron presents the play Re-velados. This production breaks silences, lays bare emotions, and reveals the stories that the world often tries to hide. It is an encounter with diversity, identity, and the freedom to be oneself. A stage where every voice has power, every body holds memory, and every story deserves to be told.
